Hove stabling facility

Hove stabling facility

Location:
Lillehammer, Norway
Baneservice bygger nytt hensettingsanlegg på Hove, med kapasitet for 16 togsett fordelt på 8 spor. Prosjektet skal tilrettelegge for effektiv parkering, strømforsyning og drift av togsett på Dovrebanen.

Start: September 2023
End: February 2026

The project involves building 16 stabling positions under live catenary, across 8 tracks. Connections to the Dovre Line are being established both to the south and the north, including a headshunt to the south. An upgraded junction to the Hove operations base and timber terminal is being adapted to the new facility. In addition, the existing catenary system between Hove and Fåberg is being upgraded.

The project covers the disciplines of track, catenary, signalling, telecom, low voltage, cable routing, groundworks, structures and water and wastewater. The work also includes the demolition of existing installations, cables, foundations and cable routing. On completion, the site compounds and affected areas will be restored to their original condition.

Multiconsult is the subcontractor for design, while Gjerdalen Entreprenør AS carries out the groundworks, structures and water and wastewater.
