What are censurable conditions, and who can report them?
Baneservice has a whistleblowing scheme for censurable conditions within the companies. Anyone who becomes aware of censurable conditions has both the right and a responsibility to report them. Censurable conditions means breaches of laws and regulations, of the Baneservice groups own rules and guidelines, or of generally accepted ethical standards.
Employees or others who report censurable conditions in accordance with the whistleblowing guidelines must not be subjected to retaliation or similar.
Examples of censurable conditions
- circumstances that may pose a danger to life and health
- bullying and harassment
- corruption and financial irregularities
- abuse of power
- embezzlement and theft
- breach of confidentiality
- breaches of fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, including the prohibition of child labour, discrimination and forced labour, as well as freedom of association
Who do you report to?
Both the matter and the situation will determine how best to speak up. When Baneservice is to handle a reported matter, it is best if we know the identity of the person reporting. As a general rule, therefore, you raise the censurable conditions with your immediate line manager, but if you would prefer not to, there are several alternatives.

Anonymous email
When you report censurable conditions, you can remain completely anonymous if you wish. The message is set up so that it leaves no trace of the sender. If you do not want to enter your name, you can write "Anonymous", for example. The form generates an email to the HR Director at Baneservice, who takes the matter further. It is not possible to send images or documents as attachments.
